I rather enjoyed this. It's not anything different genre wise. The zombies are runners (not my preferred) but there was something about the way the writers took a bunch of disjointed, seemingly unrelated vignettes and brought them together. I also like the way it's solidly character driven. There are times when the zombies are little more than a backdrop to the tension between characters. I'm looking forward to the 2nd season. |
