Another three, eh? I'd heard it was just one (season four) - but considering that it was originally only for three, and some rumours had said it wasn't breaking out globally, that's good alone but another three seasons? Heck yeah!
I love this show. Initially before it began I was rather "u wot m8?" about the whole thing, but just a little bit into the first episode I totally got it and have devoured every season (and the accompanying books) with relish.
Not only is it genuinely hilarious at times, it's also moving (that 4th episode of season three - the remaining episodes come along in a couple of days - was an absolute killer), it's filled with community spirit (so much talk of "community" these days when they're actually only referring to strangers to happen to have one specific thing in common - now that shit's not going to shovel the snow from your driveway, is it?) ... but above all else, it's surprisingly educational and informative, without being in the slightest bit dull or dry.
It's entertaining while also being quite eye-opening. I've heard it's hugely popular amongst farmers as they're like "finally, someone's telling it like it is for farmers". Some UK farmers even said that one series of Clarkson's Farm did more for farming in eight episodes than BBC's Country File had done in decades (indeed, that had become a very ponced up Londoner's view of the countryside).
I'm eager to see the next four episodes!
It's good to see it doing well. I've been seeing it popping in and out and back in to the Top 10 chart on Prime for months now. I wonder if America has cottoned onto the show yet and that's helping drive it's popularity even more?
