    Can Divx be converted to a dvd format?

    My dvd player does not play divx files and I don't like watching everything on my computer screen. If anybody knows if I can convert divx to dvd and how to do it I would appreciate the help.

    You could use NERO VISION EXPRESS, you just need the DIVX dll file for your PC. Once you load that in, open Nero Vision express and go through the easy steps to make your own DVD. Use the DIVX file as your source.

    I posted here about the same thing
    http://www.homepageofthedead.com/vbb...ead.php?t=4038

    but I'll repaste here with a few additions;

    VSO X toDVD is the easiest Any video to DVD conversion App. Its easy, powerful and does a nice job. It burn too. Thiugh it aint free.
    I've tried many, many of them, but this is the best
    No messing with aspect ratios, changing around subtitle colors sizes is easy (important for me). It doesnt have all the confusing extra junk alot of this sort of app has (though it is confuguarable, if you want it to be). Its pretty fast and pretty acurate on the medium setting.

    Basically the learning curve is zero.

    And Nero transcoding just blows, imo.

    I have used Nero for over 4 years and never had an issue with transcoding.

    Nero is very simple, and it pretty much explains everything every step of the way.

    I'll just interject my not-needed worthles opinion, but I agree with Dj (not that anyone else here is incorrect, NVE is just what i've used). Nerovision Express is a FANTASTIC program for converting files from one format to DVD format. As Dj said, I've also transcoded hundreds of files through Nerovision Express and never once had an issue with it.

    Besides, it lets you create neato animated menus with music in the background, etc, etc. Pretty slick program. There's a few features i'd like to see added, but it's never once done me wrong.
