Promos like these are put together so people can form an advanced opinion about a movie without actually seeing the whole thing. In other words: its asking to be judged. Why then should we give it a reprieve? I think it looks like complete garbage and I'm 99% sure it'll turn out to be just that.

Again with the acrobatics. Did I just see zombies jumping out of windows and sh*t? The trailer gives me the feeling of a "lesser Dawn 04" or "Dawn of the Dead: James Gunn's Other Script" ... it looks entertaining. But in the realm of remakes, the backlash will again divide people into Romero-ists and then new-gen zombie fans.

well i still say 28 days is a zombie flick so i guess im a next-gen zombie fan. ...but they dont hiss, cept for resident evil, but that movie sucked so ill let it slide.

Like the Dawn remake I shall see this one not as a remake but just a stand-alone zombie movie which just happens to be using the title Day of the Dead. It can't be any worse than Dead men Walking which I just saw on SciFi this past Sunday.
