Alone in the Dark: Near Death Investigation trailer

    For 360/PS3/PC:

Looks pretty damn impressive from the trailer. The series has been gone a long time, hopefully its a good return to form, unlike Sonic the Hedgehog...

Yeah, the last couple of Alone In The Dark titles were disappointing so I hope they really pull something special out of the bag for this one. We need more survival horror games and this could be worth investigating.

Like, the last two survival horror games I bought were Condemned (which was okay) and Call of Cthulu (which I haven't even started yet, is it any good?). Other than the last year's F.E.A.R., and the upcoming Alan Wake and Resident Evil 5, I'm hard pressed to think of any new horror games. It seemed one upon a time, the Xbox and 360 was awash with grim times but that changed since they shelved Demonik and City Of The Dead. They need to get their fingers out and start coming up with the goods man. I'll keep an eye on this new Alone In The Dark game, you never know, it might turn out pretty decent.

Having to pay to download more of the game in order to finish it? Not cool. Either make the downloads free or don't release an "incomplete" (for lack of a better word) game.

there are 4 or 5 chapters you get the 1st 2 and have to download the others for a fee and each is less than 50 mins long.
