Silent Hill: The Arcade

Here's a little something from GamesTM magazine: If you hadn't guessed from it's catchy title, Silent Hill: The Arcade is of course, an arcade game set in the world of Silent Hill. Although transposing the subtle psychological horror of the Playstation title into an arcade-only lightgun shooter doesn't quite fell appropriate to the subject matter, there's no reason to believe that this can't be handled intelligently. The first batch of screenshots at least show that trademark grainy look has been kept rather than falling into the trap of using glossy HD visuals for the sake of it. And if Konami can keep the ammo reservoir low and make good use of the sound effects and cabinet design to up the tension, Silent Hill: The Arcade could be just as horrifying as it's predecessors. i hear that, just finished resi 4 and while it started fantastic it merely finished great, surely they can do more than laboratories sometimes plus the whole wesker story was unresolved too. im gonna get the latest resi on the wii as well as resi 5 on the 360 but i hear theres another arcade spin off planned oh.good.god. the only decent horror arcade is house of the dead 2, you cant improve on that, even the graphics lend a certain cheesy "return of the living dead but serious" type vibe to it.

resi 4 that good? I bought the ps2 version and find it very dry to play i got to the first village and then they raped me

in the first village shoot a few then go into a house on the right hand side near the church and barricade the door, its the only exit so equip the shotgun and wait. ...and wait.... ...and wait, as they hammer on the door, they WILL breka it down but a few rounds of shooting and the chruch bell will ring adn they will all dissappear, then clear the village for ammo and move on

Well, didn't Resident Evil have a totally s**t lightgun series called Survivor? Hasn't done them any harm.
