Battlefield 2: Any good?

The key to flying the jets is spot a target,get plenty of altitude,then dive and release the bombs,then pull up and fly off to re-arm again,you can knock out loads of ground forces like that,or just strafing the ground with cannon fire as you come in low.The bastard part is when some other git gets on your tail & you cant shake them off,flying under bridges sometimes works or doing a loop,but more often than not the missile lock alert means death

I can shake the enemy off when they get a target lock, but it's just attacking them that really bugs me. I can't seem to get a lock on. oh well...
