Official Dead Rising [Help, Tips] thread

Yeah, PGR3...Saint's Row...and now Dead Rising as well. Between then and now at some point I said "f*ck it" and changed my mind to say, yeah I'm gonna get it. Ah mate, a week left till I can order it all up...ahhhhhh...the wait is killin' me, haha! But I digress...carry on with the Dead Rising chitty-chatty.

Just unlocked Survive 7 days on a side note. now that ive unlocked the laser sword it wont let me do the storymode anymore it just has a black screen and the red globe spinning. im pissed. any ideas on how to fix it? problem solved. the xbox screwed the disk up so i have to buy another d.r. damn you infinite mode

Yeah so i finished through the game and managed to rescue 49 people so just fell short of Saint, i didn't have isabella so i couldnt rescue simone. I have however managed to get pimp and census taker, so im not bothered about saint, what is annoying me is gourmet.. so any help would be greatly appreciated, i printed off this list and ate everything on it (checked it off while i ate it so i know i got everything), but i didn't get gourmet, if someone can tell me whats missing so i can get it then i would be very happy. yeah only cus its so freakin' tetchy, you might stop near a minute drop like a single step and kind of skid-stop and after you answer you slip down, go into a falling animationa and BAM!, yer' screwed.

PP was easy. you can do it under 2 days then get the gourmet acheivment like i did. you may have to difficult angles though.

To be honest, the only ones that are causing me worry are Gourmet and Transmissionary... gourmet becuase it wont give it me even tho i have met the requirements and transmissionary becuase everyone ive spoke to says its the hardest acheivment in the game.

I just put the gourmet list in WordPad and after every food I'd eat I'd delete it off the list. Easiest way to keep track of what you've gotten and what you need to get.
