Someone posted a mp3 a long long time ago about their radio zombie show. I listened to it for a bit but felt that it was ...how do I put this nicely? Crap. It just wasn't scary kinda felt hokey. But I think that if done correctly and by that I mean a lot more scary-like ...it would actually be quite the hit. I remember being a kid (and this is a time when radio dramas were RARE) and hearing radio stories and they rocked. I would sit in the car all the time to hear them and loved road trips because it meant listening to that. Anyone think a zombie story told on the radio would take off? Maybe there's an internet site to post a zombie radio show... hmmm....

That's true. I don't even listen to the radio any more. I just watch the countdown on tv so i know what's hot right now and go pirate me some music.

i listen to the od podcast, like the mega 64 one or the bam margera or kevin smith ones but radi wise thats it, havent listened to an actual radio in a decade, why id want to listen to dicks that wish they were vernon kay jaberin' on with one song every ten minutes is byoned me.

That's true. Radio is not like I remember it to be. There's definitely too much talk. Reminds me of when MTV used to actually be a music channel. Now it's like reality tv 24-7.

I too remember when they actually had music... MUSIC not this crap they peddle now... listening to one of my friends talk about what his band actually has to go through just to play on MTV its ridiculous. They're one step from telling artists to pay for play.

And when they do decide to actually play music it's that crappy excuse for a coundown, TRL where they give like 30 second clips of songs. What the hell is that about?

I remember the last time I caught TRL they did that! And they didn't even show 30 seconds of the video... they had the vid play in the background and then a popup screen of some teen/idiot requesting it. Their TV shows now are so god awful I can't stand to watch. There's that show next where the girls are competing for Miss Easy u.s.a. and boys are all out to get mr. i've got 10 stds I cant name... and that Room Raiders where I can't believe how messy people keep their rooms and The Hills which is totally muffed up because the girl doesn't even live in the HHills and the chick she works with is a moron. Who tells their boss they can't stay to finish their job because they have dinner plans? And you wonder why you've been an intern for 3 years. I will say this though... MTV gave me a hilarious laugh when it recently showed the Real World Vegas and I saw one of the first episodes where the girl Irulan says (and this is nearly verbatim) 'he thinks that because i'm in his room in his bed that i'm going to have sex with him' ...I was like yeah... if you go drinking with your boss and let him feel you up in the bar... then when he invites you to his room and you choose to sit on his bed and then go into his bed... he's thinking exactly what i'd be thinking The only thing I really tune in for is the show Scarred which is AWESOME I love scarrage and True Life which is done really well IMO I'm kinda mad though because now VH1 has nothing but TV shows too... and they're worse than MTV... who cares about Tom Sizemore we're all just waiting for him to climb into a tower and start killing everyone before turning the gun on himself... and Danny Bonaduce, are we waking the dead for a reason? I will give them props for the Best Week Ever tho its hilarious! I still listen to the radio though but only to 98x and NPR ... I love Car Talk with Click n Clack the Tap It brothers from Boston. And A Prairie Home Companion and the Larry Mantle Show. And Tavis Smiley is the greatest radio show ever... he always has Condie Rice on there and she's my idol she's just hilarious. So for me radio isn't dead I think its just a hippo in the water waiting to get ya. This whole TV thing is just a fad lol

I will give them props for the Best Week Ever tho its hilarious! That's one of the few things on either MTV or VH1 that are worth watching anymore. The video music awards have even lost alot of it's luster. It was never even that significant anyway. It was a fake grammys. It's funny how most people say something is a big event simply because the media tells them so. People are such sheep. Most of them just want somebody to tell them what to do.
