Rape the audience. Eh...I wouldn't go that far...I WAS thinking "be vapid, shallow, fast moving, flashy, hollow, empty of content, lacking of any deeper meaning or greater truth & place style over substance." Yet I still...like(?) it...SOMEWHAT. And it will never be more than what it is.

I'm no fan of the Dawn remake, but I have lightened up on it over the last few years. It is what it is. Cheap entertainment for one or two viewings. Nothing more. One thing that I absolutely hate about it is that it's fans don't even know it's a remake. On another board I visit a guy had this as his signature: "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the Earth" - TV Preacher, Dawn of the Dead I asked him about it and he had no idea that it was a remake or that there was even an older film with the same title. As big Romero fans, doesn't that just boil your balls?
