Nice! And in that vid you can see the petrol cans you can justy shoot (with a pistol)... No need to move anything...
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. as for that barricade issue - you can just shoot it no?

Anyway small tip for "expert" players: on this and the first level there are clear and easy escape routes back to the saferoom when you have to unleash the horde: for the construction site you need to be on the second floor of the building that looks out onto the barricade, shoot or blow it up from above and simply walk across the walkways back to the alleyway that contains the saferoom, and shoot the infected from the comfort of your locked room...

in the first level, on the 3rd chapter, you need to go up a crane lift to get to a walkway on the side of a building, get three people up in the apartment that's to the right of the gas station as you walk towards it, sometimes there are weapons there. First person presses lift button then pegs it past the gas station, up the ladder on the metal container box, through the window, out the side window on top of the van, over the van then safely back in the safe room - and enjoy the unlimited ammo and safety of the room while you pick off the hordes.
Innocent victims of merciless crimes, fall prey to some madman's impulsive designs.

Step after step we try controlling our fate. When we finally start living, it's become too late.

Yup, I read something similar while browsing and it said that 2 new scenarios will be arriving soon (both with 5 levels as usual), each one containing new weapons and new monsters.

If you're going for the "Unbreakable" achievement (don't heal once during an entire campaign), you CAN in fact use pills and still get it.

I'd assume this is tough to get by yourself cause once your CPU teammates start healing you, you can't make them stop, therefore it'd void the achievement.

Also, they better have some DLC involving a mall!

So, it's been a few weeks since the game was released. Do you feel that it lived up too all expectations? is it still fun, or has it become dull and repetitive? Does it feel like a stand alone game, or a counter strike mod?

Honestly, I'm a little pissed at myself for spending 50 bucks on what really does seem like a counter strike mod. It seems to have lost its shine and edge, and is just dull now. I really do hope they release some DLC for this soon, as it's gaming life is pretty damn short.

The DLC had better be cheap as dirt too...preferably free. Give us a ton of new levels for free and it won't feel like such a rip off cost wise.

yea, last month, when the novelty of the game hadn't worn off. the levels were fun at first, the game was challenging, and it was a blast to play on-line.

Keep playing the same game over and over again and it just gets dull, even with all the nifty features that were implemented to keep it from growing stale.

i dont play it everyday but i can see it getting tedious, but i play it a lot online, though ive yet to with anyone off here yet, and i still love it.

though a werewolf or 30 days of night style vampire sequel would be cool. imagine 4 werewolf movies instead of zombies, maybe a canadian logging camp, an isolated american live in uni campus ect.

left 4 dead is pretty cool, but it's not kept my interest at all lately, as i've been ripping through the ranks in call of duty: world at war, exploring a nuclear wasteland in fallout 3, and re-living the joys of hunting for keys with emblems of armor and helmets in the gamecube remake of resident evil.

left 4 dead never really impressed me all that much. it's fun, but left me disappointed in several aspects, such as the lack of ability to carry more than 1 item of each type (health kits, pain pills, explosives), floaty controls, only four short campaigns to play through. yeah, hopefully they'll throw in a few more campaigns (for a cheap price, as they should've had more from the start) sometime soon.
