Hey! I'm a big softy at times!

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. An ex-friend introduced me to BT some years back. We saw him in Boston and had the pleasure of meeting him outside the venue. Nice guy.

Present boat floatage courtesy of Jens Moelle of Digitalism.

Pop the star gate sequence from 2001 in your DVD player while you play this next one.

Don't listen to much electronicy poppy stuff, but there's bits and pieces on the MP3 that pop up regularly:

...and I'm probably the only man in his 30's that actually likes this:

I'm turning into a feckin girl.
I'm runnin' this monkey farm now Frankenstein.....
