As mentioned before, the bright blue trampoline in Dawn always gets me.

Another one in Dawn that i'm not sure you could call a mistake, but I find funny is that the zombies seperate to leave a perfect path for the Peter and Roger in the trucks.

This thread got me thinking about more mistakes and upon searching found THIS ONE. Anyone noticed it before?

Not exactly a goof, but certainly questionable...
Yeah I think that is a continuity issue, like where they ignore their own rules. There is story continuity and then editing continuity.

Editing continuity. Flyboy, Peter, and roger kill a zombie while rounding up the trucks, this zombie is then seen later in the film roaming around the mall.

never thought of how he died before though that's a very interesting point.

I really like the deal in night where Ben is lighting the chair on fire. If you watch that scene there is continuity issues all over it. I could always find a lot of mistakes in Night, and Dawn day I thought was more polished.

By the way..."the power for the clock died with no one there to maintain it"? Whoa! Thats a HIGH maintenance clock! The zombie menace is still in its early stages and the clock is already on the fritz? They must have needed to employ someone to stand there 24/7 to watch that darn clock.
I've never noticed the clock, thought it must've been analogue - this was the 70s man, digital clocks weren't invented yet!

Anyway, assuming it WAS an analogue clock - you know how much maintenance goes into big ben!? well neither do I...but I'm sure it's a lot...!

Couldn't Jonny in Night68 have been simply knocked unconcious? Maybe the blow to his head killed him from blood loss but never injured his brain?

I'm not sure if I have, but I remember cruising through a forum member's really well done website that had a long list of mistakes for DotD. Whose was it I wonder...

Anyway, it's very cool to go through and catch these little gaffes.

It makes you wonder what that crew member was doing with his hand out and in a fist like that. Cheering on the zombie kids?

    "Get him! Tear him up!!!"

I never cared much about whether Johnny croaked or not. It seemed easier to wonder why the zombie left his unconscious body to chase Barbara, when he had a helpless meal lying right under him. That's the thing that doesn't make sense.

Yes, totally agree there...the only rationale I can come up with is that the zombie was pretty thick and got distracted...there's nothing in the series to suggest they don't eat newly dead flesh, it's reanimated flesh they don't eat...

I always assumed he left Johnny alone because Barbara was screaming like crazy and that attracted his attention more....

I guess it could also be that Romero didn't want to "give away" the gimmick yet. When you think about it, all we really get for the first half of Night is that the dead are "after" the living. No clue that zombies eat people. It's not until we hear it on the news about midway through that we know about it, and not until the very end that we actually see it in action.

Dig that screencap of the crewmenbers hand, cheering on the kid zombies!

My favorite which I had never noticed until it was pointed out to me was the television station scene with Galen Ross calling David Emge "David" instead of his character name "Stephen." Saw that scene countless times before and never even noticed it!

The other thing, though the subject of some debate, is the talking zombie who says "Get him, arrrrgh!" in the scene in front of the ground floor doors of Pennys where Stephen is trying to get his keyring off his belt while trying to keep the zombies off of him.

I never noticed the get him thing. The David bit I did not ice before though and it made me laugh, after I was familiar enough to "get it".

I can not load that site with the picture of the crew members hand for some reasons :P

The jury is still out as to whether or not the zombie actually says "get him, arrrgh" and frankly I never noticed it until (like most things) it was pointed out to me. But once I started looking for it, I definintely heard it for myself.

Though, it could be like one of those ink blot things where if a suggestion is made to you then your mind will interpret whatever you are told to see.

I don't know if it should go under "mistakes" (more like "bad effects"), but the scene where Roger gets bitten on the arm is done badly. You can plainly see that the arm of his coverall is torn, but there isn't a single mark on the skin underneath. So, where's all the blood coming from?

I guess we could rattle off a million remarks about the effects, from Night to Dawn, to even the "muzzle flashes" (if you can call them that) in Day of the dead...lots of "bad" stuff there, I guess...
