Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. I was playing a show in the city so I completely forgot to look in the sky... even if I had looked up, I probably wouldn't of seen it considering I was surrounded by skyscrapers.

I saw that on Friday, it was the best part of my night. I was driving home from the ex-girlfriends house after swapping back our things and at one point the clouds parted and the moon was showing. It was an impressive sight.

I saw it on Friday. I could see everything outside like it was the middle of the day.

I forgot to mention it to my partner and on her way home from shopping she calls me and says "Look at the moon. It's going to hit us!!!"

She was obviously joking but I found it funny..

Geese. Honestly, I looked at it that night and did not notice anything different besides it being a little brighter. Maybe it was the night before?

Saw it last weekend! Awesome, though I did not catch the thread until later so I didn't know that I was looking at an especially bright moon, but my wife and I did notice the moon and commented on it since it was shining through the cloud layer and had a ring around it (my grandmother always said that was an indication that a big-ass storm was on it's way - old wives tale, perhaps, but funny thing is there was a big-ass storm here a few days later.
