Mmm, then perhaps you should buy the special edition double CD. Or better still, download the 6 disc box set.

What on earth is on those!??!
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Lots of remixes apparently, I'd love to hear 'em...

Matey, you got both CD's remastered to the best sound. Two CD's full of outtakes and alternate versions of the songs, with a couple of unheard instrumentals. A CD full of remixes and (the holy f**kin' grail) a CD of Richard Burton's uninterrupted solo reading of the piece in full without music.

There's also a 'making of' DVD with '78 studio footage.

If you lash out the £70 (yes £70!!!) for the box set then you get a massive book which contains all the lyrics, the story, Jeff Wayne's notes and tons of concept art, including unused paintings and sketches. Not worth the full £70 but I have seen it in Zavvi occasionally for £50.
