It's a cheap, escape/holiday. I'll play 12+hours a day as well. Really immerse myself in it. Only way to really play an rpg properly imho. I've got close to 1000 hours on Witcher 3 if that gives you an idea of my commitment lol.

this looks almost exactly the same as the original, maybe minus the heinous stuttering and unplayable framerate...not just saying this as a gamer who turned his back on the greedy ass-clowns that run microsoft. even if i was still an xbox guy, this would probably not be something i'd be interested in. really seems like this is what the first game could have/should have been, even on last-gen systems.

I've got 45 hours into this already. Ignore the critics, it's fantastic if you have the time to play it properly. Easiest way to describe it is Left 4 Dead meets Day Z with base building. It's the best end of the world survival game I've played. Great sandbox so there are quests but it's the atmosphere/experience that does it for me. Looks beautiful and plays great on the X with those 60fps even with the bugs which are annoying but not game breaking. Higher budget and an extra polish and it would have been THE game for me. Soundtrack is very electronic and has an 80's vibe. Love it.

Some advice to new players. If you wish to pause the game, then switch it to offline or you will regret it. Also plague hearts are tougher than they look, beware.

The reviews have been very mixed haven't they! Yep. It's not for everyone, especially if you need to be lead around by quests. I really hope they give it another polish.
