Those movies are ****, re-animated dogs and monsters? Still, I have not seen the most recent movie. Someone let me know when it's on SciFi, I'll go plant some mushrooms now.

Maybe they could make a straight up movie remake of the game version of Resident Evil 2...complete with Leon and Claire! What a novel concept, huh? A Resident Evil movie using characters and story from the actual canon.

Doesn't mean a ****ing thing, Ace, you should realize that from reading all the threads on this website. Just because little video game worshippers went to the theaters in droves with money in their hands doesn't automatically mean the movie is of value. Quality, Ace, quality is not entirely about money as you'll come to realize.

I liked the first one, and I don't appologise for that. The first half of that movie was better than Land or Diary. The second one was complete ****. The third wasn't terrible.

    Fair question.

And I forgive RE2 for being crap for the simple reason that they had Sienna Guillory as "Jill Valentine" in it. The flash of crotch in the graveyard scene was an added bonus.

Oblivion gallops closer, favoring the spur, sparing the rein - I think we will be gone soon

Lost interest in video games when I hit puberty and discovered the wonderful world of fireworks in the late 80s. I did play Mike Tyson's punchout for ****s and giggles not long ago while I helped kill a case of beer. Was a good time until the seal broke on my bladder. I've seen others play Resident Evil, never thought much of it. It reminds me of something the Sci Fi channel thought up in the bathroom.

well then i get it, because resident evil is more monsters than zombies really, thats why i hate the original, no creatures bar one bloody licker.
In the games zombieism is the lowest form of mutation from the t virus, it effects everything , crows, humans, dogs, sharks, tigers, elephants, anything mammalian really. but the virus is created to create organic weapons, like giant tyrants, lightning fast hunters, i could go on, but resident evil was never a zombie series. they were a staple, but so's dragons in dragon quest and that-...is a bad example

-anyway, point is the games are monster filled b movie homages and it always bugs me when people watch the movies but never play the games and expect a straight zombie movie. not a personal thing, just , y'know, it bugs the hell outta me.

I mean the dogs coming back to live, etc. and the monsters. They don't fit into Night, Dawn, Day, etc.
