Ran across this site at imfdb which has some information (incomplete information and incomplete list, and some info entirely incorrect, which is exactly what you would expect from imfdb) about the weapons used for DOTD 78. Did a quick search, but did not see this posted anywhere on our site. http://www.imfdb.org/index.php?title...er-Jager_AP-74 They also have a page for the weapons used in DOTD 04, but I did not bother posting the link here just because doing so would make me feel unclean. Great find even if there are inaccuracies thanks!

Could not stand the inaccuracies on the page, so I suggested some corrections which were reviewed and then implemented. example: For Peter's derringer, they claimed that he was going to kill himself because he had been cornered by ghouls, implying that his decision to shoot himself was motivated by taking the easy way out. Loudmouth and DOTD advocate that I am, I could not let that inaccuracy remain on line without a fight.

I think the revolver Peter uses to shoot Rodger as he's rising was a nickel plated Llama .38 special. I couldn't find a a pic of a nickel plated Llama, but here's pic of blue steel Llama revolver:
