Damn, that's mind boggling! How the hell would one go about inviting Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Ken Foree and Michael Berryman over for dinner? Don, you must be one smooth operator dude.

    interesting purge...

danielle harris was a bad person at a convention?

very jealous you met roddy piper he's up on my top 10 must shake hand list

I've never met anyone from a zombie flick i've met Friday the 13th cast members mostly and of course most of them only made one or two movies so it was like not meeting anyone at all...
You smell that? That's the smell of spring, and I love it. You know what I love to do in spring? I love to come out into the woods, to walk amongst the budding trees, to smell and taste the hint of renewal that hovers in the air like a heady perfume, and to listen to the song of the birds who have returned from their long sojourn south. And bury the people I killed during the winter...

Yeah, Piper was all smiles and shaking everyone's hand. If I'd made a "Gold Guest List", he'd be on it.

    Best:
    George Romero
All of the living dead folks
    Tom Atkins (Super nice)
    Vanessa Angel
    Lloyd Kaufman
    Roddy Piper

I can't think of any of the few dozen celebs I've met so far that wasn't courteous and friendly. But I'd have to agree that Tom Savini was not terribly friendly. He just seemed like he'd rather be somewhere else.

Anyone know what's up with Savini then? I see a lot of people posting about that. Did he have a bad fan experience at some point?

I met him back in the 1980's when he first started doing conventions and actually got a pic with him smiling and another one of him laughing. He seemed very friendly back then.

In the early 90's I took the photo of me and him to a show and had him sign it and he smiled when he saw it. And still seemed friendly.

Just wondering if something happened to him which has made the conventions less fun for him in recent years.
