That it is . I plan on picking up the Wii to compliment my 360 just as I had a GameCube to compliment my Xbox (actually still have both) .

Ouch !! Smelling like a cheap wino can't be a good thing .

I haven't had any mishaps with my GameCube but the day I got my original Xbox it was dropped down a flight of stairs in my hallway . I haven't had one problem with it since & it still works fine till this day .

Keep an eye on the HDD. It might not be a system issue but an issue with the HDD. A friend on mine kept having issues with games freezing & when the HDD was removed everything worked fine. He had to finally call MS & they replaced the HDD & everything seems to be working fine for him now.

Have to say that I love my xbox360 and I only have oblivion and fight night on there at the mo'. Got Dead Rising on pre-order in the uk :-(, but the real question is how happy are you all with this game?? apart from the very occasional slow down I have no probs to report with my 360 yet!!!

I'm as happy as can be. Never get tired of killing zombies in so many different ways.

I would love to get a 360 for "Dead Rising" and the new "Splinter Cell".....plus a few others, i'm sure....but I'm afraid it would stop working after a few months like my XBOX did.

    Damn you, Bill Gates.

after having played a little of oblivion on the highest spec pc around i gotta say the 360 version may lag but thats because its far more graphically impressive in comparrison the world looks lush and realistic in the meadows/ mountains/ tombs ect. but the pc one still has morrowind style dodgy textures on it.

and anyone else know this isnt the 4th game in the series, there were 2 after daggerfall and before morrowind, that was news to me.

Yeah, the 360 version of Oblvion looks better than any PC version because the 360 allows for HDR lighting and 4x Anti-Aliasing (smothes out the jagged edges on objects, players, etc.) at the same time. The PC version only allows one or the other.

I hope Crysis comes to consoles, or an offshoot game like they did with FarCry. Definetly the most amazing looking game I've ever seen, check it out:

Gotta say that the occasional lag on oblivion hasnt stopped me racking up over 200 hours of play time, aint that sad. Since I bought it in april.
