    ^^ Oh dear!
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. It appears that sod all thought went into it, and it feels more like someone's impression of what a 'feature film version' should be without bothering to put the effort in and properly figure it out. By stark contrast look at Alan Partridge Alpha Papa, where it's clear they put a lot of effort in both in terms of adapting a TV show for a film, but also in making it work for AP newbies. Another stark contrast is The Inbetweeners Movie which, again, works really well in movie form.

Keith Lemon The Film, though? "Oh dear!" indeed, Neil ... oh dear.

5/10. Meh. Started out strong, had some great set up, then devolved into incoherent silliness.

    End of Watch - 8/10

I really dug the style, although the 'reasoning' for JG's character to be carrying a camera felt a bit daft in such a dangerous job, but for the most part the POV camera thing was forgotten about when it came to the characters while the film maintained that style, which worked quite well indeed. Quite brutal at times and surprisingly dark, but you also get into the two central characters (Gyllenhaal and Pena) who have a real chemistry together. You get attached to them. I was rather impressed with it.

    Speed - 10/10

I hadn't seen it in years but gave it another spin t'other night and it's a stone cold classic. A perfect movie with pin sharp tension, thrills, and pacing. Not an inch of fat in the whole thing.

6.5/10. Don't know why this one is ranked so low on IMDB (other than consider the source...), but I thought it was a fairly intriguing little indie sci-fi/horror effort.

Leave it to you to invent a new scale. 25 or 6-to-4?

^^^ Pity, as the premise it was based on sounded fascinating to me when they were out doing the PR for it.

Yeah, same here. I'll still give it a spin and see what I make of it though when it rolls around on telly.
