    good to hear that frank's gonna be back. heard a lot of bitching already since this story broke about ps3 not getting any of frank the tank, but the first DR wasn't even on playstation, so wtf?

    what i'm slightly irked about is the fact that they will be charging for this....when it probably should have been included in the launch title as an unlockable bonus or something. having said that, i'll probably get it anyway, cuz well...frank....he's covered wars, ya know?

    Having watched that "Case: West" teaser, it sounds like they might have dropped a massive spoiler in it as to the ending on Dead Rising 2.

    Maybe not, maybe it's disconnected from DR2 altogether, but...

     
    The voice over - which I'm pretty sure is Chuck - says that he (Chuck) gets framed for causing the zombie outbreak in that area and so he must team up with Frank to clear his name and get evidence ... if that's how the story of DR2 ends, then fucking hell, what a clanger to drop eh? Sheesh...

    It's definitely a plot point you hear about early on in DR2. I've heard some of the developers mention it in interviews, so it must not be that big of a spoiler.

    Comes out in the UK on the 24th, but it depends on how long it takes for my order to arrive you know. I'm looking forward to it.

    I think we should start a fresh thread though, as this is very much about anticipating the game - a new thread should be about appreciating the game first hand.

    Same with Alan Wake earlier this year which we got a week before America. Not sure why we're getting it a few days earlier, but it makes for a pleasant change, I tell thee.

    Same as Lostboy, my copy was shipped out yesterday, so I'm hoping I get it tomorrow, or at least Saturday so I can have it for the weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing how they've built upon DR1, and to generally smashing some fucking zombie skulls in.
