Regarding how close the show will track with the comic, Darabont responded, "We're going in every spastic direction we can and we're taking as many detours as we can. If good ideas come up, let's not ignore them. We step off the path, we can always step back on it. There are going to be a lot of surprises even for the most devoted fans of the comic." Very interesting...personally, I'm happy, but I'm sure some will not be pleased by this.

Doh, too many articles open at work at the same time The undead in Red Dead aren't the shambling, slow moving creatures from some zombie flicks you might have seen. Some of them can move incredibly quickly, especially the variant that runs on all fours like dogs. There are also giant fat zombies with axes protruding from their decaying bodies and women who spit bile at you from a distance. I really wanted to deal with legions of slow movers, at least some of the time...

as long as they don't include the type of special zombies from left 4 dead, track stars from dawn 04, or wall-crawlers from ghey 08, i'm okay with it, i guess. i really can't wait for a proper zombie game using romero-style shamblers only, with major hordes of slow-moving ghouls as the backdrop and psychotic human raiders and whatnot as the major villains...which is why i'm still holding out hope for "dead state", even if it's on the pc. edit: and nice one about the trap, darth...now where's bass to put the icing on the cake?

Why's that bass? You have a silver membership and can dowload anything. You just can't play online.

Besides being announced today the release date is the 26th it was also announced at a later date ALL dlc will be on a standalone disc for 30 bucks...no date on the disc

Same here. The GTAIV DLC disc was certainly worth it, so I imagine this will be the same.

Well, they say it's about 5-12 hours depending on whether you take on side missions and ambient challenges and stuff. That's like an entirely new, seprate game that won't affect the main game at all. That shit is boss. And who amongst us wouldn't? Wasn't that our main problem with mafia 2? That there was none of that stuff? Too linear? Cool thing about rockstar's games, RDR in particular, is that you can keep playing in the sandbox long after the game has ended. Alan wake could use some of that. Hey, I'm just sayin'.
