I love that movie. Seen it several times now and gave it another spin last night.
Yes yes, I also really love this movie. Its a near perfect representation of a teen becoming a man, IMHO. Very poorly marketed as "from the director of Superbad", though. Two completely different films.

    Ray Harryhausen: Special Effects Titan
A fabulous documentary covering, of course, the legendary Ray Harryhousen. Featuring interviews with the man himself, his collaborators, and the filmmakers he's inspired, its a fascinating look at the special effects legend. Currently on instant Netflix. 9/10

Grease. I think they ran out of lyrics for the last song though.

    'Firefly' and 'Serenity'

    over all, 7/10.

Probably the best thing Joss Whedon has ever been involved in, but it still suffers from Whedonisms.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. "The Reckoning" is a murder mystery set in the middle ages. The film is based on the book "Morality Play." Decent cast- paul bettany, tom hardy, wllem defoe, gina mckee, and brian cox. Found this quite by accident on netflix. I enjoy the middle ages as a setting for films and the cast was intriguing enough to give it a look.
