10:21 EST and we're still in first with a 384 vote lead. It's quite funny really, these projects are raking in so many votes, but the "total voters" at the bottom is like 1800 people ... kinda daft really. Surely there's a better way with these sort of voting thingies that they can lock it at one vote per IP address or something? Just something that struck me as odd Agreed. I saw that too and wasn't quite sure what to make of it. Is it accurate? Could be. Look at how wonky that website is though.. and it does block you from voting more than once every 24 hours, so lets see... OK, assuming half of those 1800 people were voting for DL2, that means we could've reached 33,000 votes in 36.6 days. That seems possible. I don't remember when voting started on this, but I think it might be less than 36.6 days ago. Plus, the top two aren't the only ones getting votes - third place is still getting a push too, which means we're probably not getting 50% of that 1800 votes... *brain starts to swell* I don't know, I'm having a hard time working out wtf is going on. Then again, I suck at math, so fuck it. Damn the hillbillies, full steam ahead!

I didn't know about it until about a month ago, so in the time it took the Mountain Music project to gain its 33,000+ votes we did it in 1/2 the time. However, we could easily lose 1st again if people don't vote every day. In fact the MMP peeps are now only 500 votes behind us again and creeping up fast.

UPDATE: As of Sunday, 3:21pm EST, we are exactly 1194 votes ahead of the hillbillies - y'know what that means, right? SQUEAL LIKE A PIG AND GO VOTE AGAIN! Last time we got this far the they took us over in less than 24 hours, so vote and widen the hillbilly gap. Uh.... ummm. Yeah. Something like that. We thanks you for yours support.

I voted too. Looks like DL2 is up by 1680 votes. Yup, I just checked and it's 35802 vs. 34122, giving DL2 a lead of 1680 votes! WOOT! Keep the voting up (you can vote once every 24hrs), we need a wide lead to make sure the hillbillies don't catch up.

Yeah, them thar hillbillies can be a sneaky bunch. Hence why I am going on a friggin' blitz today, now that I am somewhat awake. Man am I glad I took today off. I love going to horror cons, but you get zero in the sleep department, then add to that a 7-8 hour drive each way and it is taxing on the ole body. Anyway, yes keep voting. Pimp your family your friends... hell even ask your cat to vote.
