Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Labor Day : 8.5/10.
Not sure what it is, but Josh Brolin is just a big old huggable lug.
And Kate Winslet isn't so bad she-self...

saw the amazing spider-man 2 last night, and as a life-long fan of the ol' webhead, this for me at least, was the best spidey film to date.....not a perfect film, but there were some very impressive action pieces, as well as an emotionally-charged moment or two. my only real gripes would have to be that electro comes off a tad too silly at times, and it almost seems this movie is more of a set-up for the third film in the series (which i have a feeling will be monumental!). worth checking out, i wish i had opted to see it in 3-d. i did get two free tickets when i bought the xbox 360 game though, so i may go see it again, and if i do, 3d it shall be....

The Other Woman : I'm going to give it a 7/10. It could've done without all the girlie togetherness bullshit, but what are you gonna do in a revenge chick flick?
Also, Cameron Diaz is still a hideous woman. That is all.

The director's cut of Nightbreed on blu-ray is scheduled to be released this Fall. Can't wait personally.

Also, the thread has been re-categorized.

OMG, as do I. I know I mention boner pants, but this time I really, really mean it.
Even when I saw it when it came out, I knew something was amiss. Finally, THE CABAL CUT will be ours. His true vision...
Sadly, to continue it as he envisioned, they'd need to recast or reboot. Might as well reboot since they are supposed to be doing the same with Hellraiser.
I lo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ve me some Clive Barker.

"The Amazing Spider-Man" (yes, the 1st one of the reboot series). Finally broke down & saw it. 7/10. Pretty good. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

Liked Maguire's Peter Parker better, though Garfield was good, just a little too "edgy"/cool. Emma Stone was surprisingly good & made a great leading lady, & the chemistry of the two leads was one of the highlights.

Still wasn't crazy about the changes they made (though they are relatively minor). Thought the Rami one captured the vibe a little better. But this one was still enjoyable & not bad.
