Kirkman must be making multiple millions at the moment and good luck to him. He comes across as a cool guy to me.

Wow. We have comics, novels, a tv series, videogames and now a magazine ...
All that's missing is the obligatory feature film series following a different group of survivors.
Can't blame the guy for making a couple of millions but still; one can only hope overkill doesn't lead to a drop in quality of the core TWD: the comic book series.

They have not yet begun to sell out. I'm waiting for the Walking Dead Saturday morning cartoon series (with the obligatory animated sidekick for Carl).

Beware the beast, man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him, drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.

You beat me to it! After reading Krisvd's comment above, an 80s-style cartoon sellout was the first thing that came to mind.

Issue #1 of The Walking Dead, The Official Magazine comes with an alternative cover featuring an exclusive, colored zombie scene by The Walking Dead comic artist, Charlie Adlard. This alternative collector’s edition is only available through comic stores. Retailers can order via August Diamond PREVIEWS.

    Here's the alternative cover:-
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
