Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Hmmm ... not sure how this'll pan out. The movie is so iconic, as are the actors who originated those roles ... I hope this will turn out to be good, but I was a little bit surprised when I heard this news initially. The "Zombieland" pilot didn't turn out to be a good idea ... perhaps this will be more successful, even though it is also recasting famous roles.

    "An Original Series" Well...

That said, I'll see how it looks to be developing.

doesnt look very good, its a classic, fair enough if they made a spin off but the trailer looks like they are the same characters played by different people. loved tarantinos bad acting & george clooney was the epitome of 'cool' in the original,
Get that damn screwdriver out of my head!

    Longer trailer.

Still underwhelmed by this. You see lines and scenes from the movie in there, and there's no way they're going to be superior - let alone equal - they're only going to be inferior, and so that's not a very good way to try and establish this reboot of the franchise in a different medium. The new Gecko brothers look way too lightweight in this trailer - who knows, the show could be great ... but this trailer isn't getting me hot or bothered at all.

I actually thought the Zombieland pilot was pretty neat, and was sad it didn't work out. Harrumpff on that.

As far as this one goes:
Why bother when they already shat upon the original by making all those crap pretty much straight to dvd sequels? This was about the only time I didn't want to vomit when seeing Tarentino. This being said, if I eventually stumble across this, I may give it a twirl. Maybe.

The pilot wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. I think it's biggest mistake was re-casting the characters from the film - it would have been far better if they'd picked a new quartet of people who had teamed up in this same world, but followed the same 'rules' if you will. It was kind of uneven - some parts were very funny, while other parts were very naff ... a tighter script and entirely new characters would have been welcome and might have made it more successful.
