No kidding, isn't it about time to stop scraping and bowing to Islam?

Beware the beast, man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him, drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.

What the hell???this government sickens me!its rotten to the core, and why are we fighting radical islam abroad and appeasing it over here?holocaust denial is illegal in germany, the place that knows damn well that it happened,so why encourage holocaust denial over here?
One can only hope that children of the future have enough about them to read books or watch documentarys outside of school seen as the important things they should know about are censored. We learned about the holocaust at school,we had to do a study on it and watch the film "escape from sobibor".

    mate i know you love to bash the government, but if you read the article;

it's not the government, its the schools themselves who are omitting it.the government is the one who's blown the whistle on this.

holocaust denial is illegal here also i think.

this is pretty ridiculous, the holocaust is an integral part of the history of the 20th century...

Next thing you' know you have scools teaching Creation as science so all the Bible thumpers will feel included and have warning on book covers that Evolution is just a theory.

*ug* I heard about this sh*t too, absolutely sickening.

And Liam, while it's the schools doing it seemingly off their own backs, the obsessiveness over political correctness is the result of Labour's insane love of it.

As holocaust denial is illegal, it MUST be taught, because not teaching it, is essentially denying it.

students whose beliefs include Holocaust denial.
Then they're f*cking retards, because it BLATANTLY HAPPENED. There is STACKS AND STACKS of evidence that it happened, including people who were there who are still alive, it's so intensely documented that denying it is like pointing at the grass and saying it's black and made from Jodie Marsh's nasal hair - ABSOLUTELY RETARDED.

A religious 'belief' (how is being a holocaust denier a properly religious matter? ) should have absolutely no influence over what is taught. Schools in America are/were winning out against the whole Creationism thing, why should this be happening? Slightly different features to both arguments, but essentially the comparison is there.

It's funny, when I was in high school, all we ever did in history was either The Tudors or WW1/WW2 and the intervening years ... oh, and bloody Calvinism ...

Although if I read the original article in the Daily Mail correctly, this is a decision by some, made with absolutely no consulting with the Muslim community whatsoever, i.e. yet more of the chattering nob'eads assuming shiite, well F*CK OFF AND TEACH ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF THE 20TH CENTURY!!!

I'd really like to hear the opinions of actual Muslims in this matter, rather than the anal-retentive fiddling of a bunch of red-tape-minded Red Voters ... scumbags ... makes me sick to the stomach.

Essentially, with this crowd, it's censorship through taxation, or censorship through 'political correctness'.

Long live political incorrectness I say. I'm all for equal rights for women and gays and black people and all the things that political correctness was originally intended to serve, but all this "down with ba ba black sheep/ooh, the Holocaust might offend Muslims but we didn't ask them at all before we made some sense-raping decision" is to the disservice of the entire country, if not the entire world.

what are the odd's not one muslim guy or woman actually had any say in this, if i was a muslim guy going to school the next day and the techer said that out loud, boy id wanna just hide in a corner or something, i dont see what the big deal is with offending muslims, we are allowed to say what we think, regardless of race, religion or anything else, i aint telling any muslim dudes what to believe so i dont think it should compensate for the other way round either.

next up labour will probably stick there fingers in the ears and hum loudly when someone mentions 9/11

You know ... I wouldn't be surprised if they did...a long shot, but nonetheless ... I wouldn't be surprised.

Totally, as far as I know, this decision was made without consulting any Muslims...surely that's the very definition of retarded? There's been other 'sensitive censorship' going on all to do with [silly voice on]not wanting to offend Muslims[silly voice off] ... and I remember on one issue a Muslim group leader or somebody actually said they weren't involved in the decision at all, and wouldn't have demanded whatever it was be banned/censored/whatever - so it's just a bunch of PC-obsessed red-voting white lunatics who've been to one too many sensitivity seminars...

Such pussy footing will be the death of all of us, I tell thee...

lol, labour have nothing to do with it, but it's still their fault.
the PC fad kicked off in the late eighties/early nineties, when the tories were in power and new labour didn't even exist.

if labour were for this, they would have kept the results of the study they instigated quiet.

labour may be part of the pc thuggery (although cameron with his "hug a hoodie" nonsense is just as bad), but if you think their policies are brimming with respect for muslims and their ways, i'd think again

Re-read my statement, if Labour breed a culture of PC-obsessiveness, it's only going to filter down into other aspects of society, ergo, they're the source.

Also, like I said, the original intent of political correctness when it was started, was justified and good, and has brought about worthwhile change - such as women being equal to men and so on...it's still being worked out as the old farts who never believed such things die out, and the new breed of people take their places.

Also, "hug a hoody" was the tabloid dumbing down and slogan-poking version of the original intent. The original intent was, basically, "understand your enemy", which is a very mature and worthwhile route to follow. If you don't understand the "problem", how are you ever going to deal with it? "Hug a hoody" was a bunch of tabloid back-chat, therefore, the message of understanding the issue has been lost...typical.

Labour can't keep jack shiite quiet, and even if they did, someone else would find out whatever they're hiding ... but then again, all parties across the entire world are the same, there's always palms to be greased as a thank you for acquiring inside information.

With political correctness, Labour have taken a good idea, as usual, and f*cked it up and taken it so far beyond the original intent that it's become more of a hindrance than a help.

indeed, well you think political correctness only spiralled out of control once new labour were in power, but you don't really back it up, it's just rhetoric - labour breed a culture of pc obsessiveness ergo, theyre the source and all that, well, how do they breed it?

i think you'll find the bias of the largely left wing, middle class british media bred it, and despite what you may like to think, the government does not have that much control over the output of the media - indeed, the media has more sway over what the government does in a perverse sort of way.

things such as the black population of britain being given more rights & the waves of immigrants in the 50s and 60s have pushed our society towards a tendency to become more accepting & sensitive to minorities and certain sensitivities.

being tolerant, accepting and sensitive towards those who are not like you has become a desirable trait, and rightly so.

however, as with all social trends, some people take it too far, and the eventual extension of this culture of acceptance is the silly degrees of political correctness you sometimes find in today's society.

while new labour have, since 1997, fostered an environment which often panders to these irrational sensibilities, to lay the blame for PC thuggery solely or largely at their door is unreasonable, as political correctness was spinning out of control long before 1997, with police having ridiculous vocabulary guidelines in the early to mid nineties & the like.

pop bands were writing songs like this in 1994
    http://www.absolutelyrics.com/lyrics...achers/p.c.p./

here's an article from 1993 showing that PCness had become an issue to the point where there were anti PC movements on both sides of the pond

    http://pubs.socialistreviewindex.org...1/molyneux.htm

i'm not saying labour don't fan the flames, so to speak, but saying they are largely the reason for it's spread is simply not true, it's almost propagandist rhetoric given your pronounced anti labour stance & lack of citational evidence, yknow?
