the zombie who ordered brains must be a yale man.

I tend to lean more toward zombie 1.

I think it's all those and much more, but ultimately - and very generally speaking - the zombies are us, extensions of us, and they represent every single fear we have in not only ourselves, but in mankind at large.

haha I hoped you would approve!

I love the cartoon a lot because we were all talking about the symbolism in the dead movies and how much of it was intended and how much was our perception. In a way it kind of speaks to that.

Of course the dig at ROTLD was just delicious

... or maybe it was saying "It is just horror , there is no symbolism" OH GOD NOW I AM READING INTO THE POSSIBLE INTENTIONS OF A COMIC THAT IS SATIRICALLY LOOKING AT FILMS AND WHAT IS OR IS NOT INTENDED SYMBOLISM.

But surely one of the great things about art, is that it means different things to different people, and you can see and find things that the artist never had intended, or set out to do, or thought about consciously or subconsciously.

That's the good side of interpreting art ... the bad side is when people start reading incest into that AI movie, or truly believing my group of chums at uni when we were doing a group presentation on the movie Duel ... we said to our fellow students that what we were about to say was bullsh*t, knowing full well that the lecturer had a thing for inscribing these perverted theories on films (the lecky was outside at this point) ... he comes back in, we do our presentation, and claim that the big mean truck is raping the little red car, and that it was about corporate America f*cking the little guy.

The lecky bought it and really liked that interpretation - and we were taking the piss!

Anyway, hooray for good zombie movies!

Funny cartoon but I've always thought of zombies as being everyone already out there... people will eat you alive if you let 'em
You smell that? That's the smell of spring, and I love it. You know what I love to do in spring? I love to come out into the woods, to walk amongst the budding trees, to smell and taste the hint of renewal that hovers in the air like a heady perfume, and to listen to the song of the birds who have returned from their long sojourn south. And bury the people I killed during the winter...
