    Twilight: Eclipse

So, has anyone had an opportunity to see this brilliant work of film-making genius yet?

Yet again it's time for a new "Twilight" film so we can see hunky guys running around with their shirt off (abs! abs! abs!) and some wonderful romance scenes. I know everyone here is extremely excited and looking forward to seeing this absolute gem of movie-making and I'm certainly looking forward to all the reviews that will be presented here.

I know I can't wait to watch this film! Will Team Jacob win over Team Edward or will tragedy strike? I know, like the rest of you, I can barely hold back my excitement! No doubt, this is going to be not only the film of the summer but the film of the year as well just like the first two "Twilight" films were two of the best (and scary!) horror films ever created as well. I know I celebrate every opportunity watching both of the released films on Blu-Ray as often as possible.

Ah, and that Robert Pattison and Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart! Aren't they just amazing actors? Man, everyone in these films from Dakota Fanning to the extras are just pure talent. The books are just so great and I've gone through five copies of all of them from reading them non-stop. That Stephenie Meyer is an amazing author! She certainly beats Anne Rice or any other vampire writer out there without a doubt.

Anyway, I'm soooo excited to see "Twilight: Eclipse" even though I know I'll be bummed about having to wait in a line to go see it. But, what can you do? It's worth waiting in a line with all the other fantastic fans to see this great work!

Let me know your thoughts on this greatest series of films ever as well and we can show our appreciation for Ms. Meyer and her great work as well as showing our appreciation for the films!

    j.p.

Hey now. . . .Dakota Fanning IS a talent. She has had quite a career already and it doesn't appear to be stopping any time soon.

Yah, Dakota is a talented young lady, though I wasn't happy with her screaming kid role in Spielberg's War of The Worlds, but that was the part as written. She also did some voice work for a Miyazaki anime film, My Neighbor Totoro, along with her sister Elle who played ( not so coincidentally. ) sisters that encounter a Nature spirit.
She kicked major ass in Man on Fire, however.

As for Twilight and that whole cult, Man, how the Vampire has fallen.
I'd gone along for the ride with them since I first picked up Dracula as a kid. I even didn't mind 30 Days of Night, because at least those bad boys were trying (despite being the Forrest Gumps of the Undead. )but Edward and Crew make Lestat and that whiny Anne Rice bunch look butch by comparision.
After giving the first film a look-see, the rest seem equally anemic.

Girls get wide ons for the twilight films & books, most of the girls on my facebook friends list keep going on about them! and not a day goes by when the red top newspapers over here dont have pictures and articles about "R-patz" as they've dubbed him
I havent actually seen any of the films, but I can tell that because certain people I know like them, that I definitely wont. I like my vampire stories creepy and sinister, not Dawsons creek with vampires. Theres that TV series "true blood" on at the moment as well which is more of the same crap!

Nah, TrueBlood is pretty far removed from fucking Twilight.

I watched an episode though and as usual all cast members were extremely good looking & not far out of their teens, with crap vampires and lots of sex scenes, still seemed pretty much a teeny bopper show for the lost/heroes/flashforward crowd

Your handle is right on, as I'm trying to figure out the connection between Teen Vamp Flicks and the shows you mentioned.
While hardly Teen Fodder, True Blood is definitely in the touchy feely camp, albeit more Southern Gothic. Anna Paquin is sporting a nice little bod, I like that. Still not enough to hook me.

But oh what a wrapper, especially the lesbo scene between Pam and Yvette.

    *yawn*

That show bores me as much as Twilight. I got through, what, 3 episodes of season 1?

If I wanted to see lesbians, True Blood would NOT be my first choice for viewing.

You wanna see redheads? I have plenty of movies that feature them - they've way surpassed the NC-17 rating too. I think that would be more entertaining than anything on cable tv.

But are they Jessica and The Queen hot? Most likely not, unless you have VAMPIRE lesbian porn somewhere and haven't told me.
