    What does Roger say....

When Peter says "I'm not too sure of this thing, I'll just wrap pick-up"

    Does Roger say:

"I grew up driving one of these things, come on, let's go"

    or...

"my father drove one of these things, come on let's go"

    or something else...

    ???
Innocent victims of merciless crimes, fall prey to some madman's impulsive designs.

Step after step we try controlling our fate. When we finally start living, it's become too late.

I think he says "I grew up in one of these things". I could be mistaken, though...

Peter: "I'm not too sure of this thing, I'll just ride pick up."

Roger: "I grew up on one of these things, and that familiarity will lead me to my ultimate undoing and doom at the hands and bicuspids of a foul shambling corpse. C'mon, let's go!"

Roger says "C'mon, let's go. Follow me close and we won't run over a single zombie. I'm sick of not being bitten by zombies!"

And we go from foreshadowing to irony. Any other literary tools to be lampooned anyone?

I don't know, but now, for some reason, I have this image of Dawn run at high speed with wacky music in the vein of a Monty Python sketch, and that has me giggling a bit

I never thought of this before, but why didn't Roger and Peter just drive the trucks around and smash as many zombies as possible before parking the trucks? Now, THAT would be fun!

Peter: "I'm not too sure of this thing, I'll just ride pick up."

Roger: "I'm an excellent driver, an excellent driver."

    "I love you."
I'm pretty sure thats what Roger whispered into the radio, not realizing he still had the send button pressed.
