NOTLD on stage in Los Angeles

Just found out that "Night of the Living Dead" is being performed on stage at the Stella Adler Theatre from October 26 to December 3, 2006 in Los Angeles, California. Check it out here

Wow, this actually looks like it could work. It'll be damn interesting to see how they'll play out the closing scenes.

what gets me is the "when there's no more room in Hell" quote on the ad. Would have made more sense if they'd put "They're coming to get you....." Makes them look like they're into it for name only; using thrown around quotes that they've "heard somewhere". Ya know? I'd still go see it, tho.

I always thought that NOTLD '68 would make a really great play. The scope of the film was restricted, claustrophobic and tense. If a person were a clever director/production designer they could reproduce that on stage. What would be interesting is to see this done in the round as well as in the proscenium. Has anyone here gotten to go and see this? Thoughts? Xeper.
