Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. It's been over 4 decades, and still no one has been able to make a better dragon movie than Dragonslayer (1981) It was all done the old-fashioned way, with well designed & constructed small scale models and large size "puppets". Computers were only used to smooth out the stop-motion animation of the actual physical models. Nothing so far can beat those old-fashioned special effects. CGI still looks too cartoony and artificial. It's perfect for a movie like Tron, which happens within the artificial virtual world of a computer network, but nothing else, really.

Well, this was actually a good solid romp. Nothing particularly astounding, but definitely a good fun flick.

    Can imagine a sequel...
