Cool! I like the idea of going with an Ed Wood-esque vibe (indeed, it'd be great if they could get those same writers, who also did The People vs Larry Flynt as well as Dolemite Is My Name, although who knows if they'd even be interested as it might be similar ground for them to retread). Anyway - I think it'd make a great film. Gotta love those stories of plucky filmmaking teams struggling to get their project made and then coming out the other side with a success. Incidentally, I binge-watched "The Offer" the other week and thoroughly enjoyed it.
