    Henry:Portrait of a Serial Killer

Has anybody seen this? I saw it listed on Deepdiscountdvd and saw it had Michael Rooker, would it be worth watching or buying?

Thumbs up Henry is definitely worth the watch...

Pretty good psycho chaos. Stay clear of the sequel.

I saw the sequel a while ago not knowing what it was, so I wasn't too excited about seeing the first. But then I noticed it was made by completely different people, so I came here to ask the most intelligent people around.

Good flick, very gritty and grimy, a must for any serial killer movie fan. If you're into the grit and dirt of a low budget flick then you should be down for this, it's fairly violent and grim, kicked up a lot of fuss here in the UK - fortunately it's uncut these days, but not before the BBFC had a big old fight with it before giving up and passing it.

Hmm...I thought it was a pretty lousy movie...

The only thing I liked was Cooper the creepy brother

I'd say it's one of the better, if not, best horror films of the last quarter-century. The film's story is inspired and based on the exploits of Henry Lee Lucas. It looks dated, but I think it actually improves the film's overall impact since it makes it seem like a documentary film made on the daily life of one serial killer.

The home invasion scene is one of the most brutal and terrifying scenes on film in how casual and mundane it looked. I've never seen a snuff film in my life, but that sequence might be the closest to seeing one.
