It has many that you would guess and a few you might not.

Sorry, Neil. No Babylon 5 here.

    My favorite inclusion: John Carpenter's
    The Thing

Never seen "Dr. Who", but I agree with it being better than "Heroes". That show is just laughable to me.

I'm glad Starship Troopers is on that list. Easily the best Sci-fi from the 90's. And The Matrix as number 1! Oh yeah! That's 90's too, tho. Meh, it's a tie between them.

I think Quantam Leap and BTTF should both be ranked higher.

y'know i wasnt sure about the new battlestar being second only to the matrix, but i saw the last two eps of season 3 the other day and now i think it deserves the spot, its really underrated adn its one of the best sci-fis on tv rightnow, possibly better than heroes, definatley better than lost.

Hardly underrated considering the constant praise it's getting. Theres just some people who will wait for a show to falter before tearing it apart and impatient others who'll go to petty heights of attacking it for everything it's about.

I think there's some serious fanboy voting or something involved with that list...

But none-the-less, some I agree with a good proportion of it...

BUT HOW IS STAR WARS NOT IN THE TOP FIVE, yet along the list altogethor?
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. haha Galaxy Quest was awesome

I just dont think ET shoulda been on there. I'm not sure why everyone loves it but for me it was one of my most loathed films. Still is actually lol.
You smell that? That's the smell of spring, and I love it. You know what I love to do in spring? I love to come out into the woods, to walk amongst the budding trees, to smell and taste the hint of renewal that hovers in the air like a heady perfume, and to listen to the song of the birds who have returned from their long sojourn south. And bury the people I killed during the winter...

Close Encounters should be in ET's place IMHO...
