Children of the air raid siren should love this PA romp.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. You can watch the whole thing on youtube if you are interested.

I downloaded it a while back, haven't watched it yet though.

And speaking of "the bomb", I just got finished watching the whole of "Jericho" this week, it was pretty damn good IMO.

Love Jericho. At the beginning you're thinking it's just going to be a PA Lost knockoff (before Lost nuked the fridge), but then they get a bit darker and grittier than expected and it turns into a very good time.

Yeah, totally enjoyed it (wasn't totally perfect, but what is), overall, I was pretty hooked from the first episode, it had a lot of good stuff going on for my money, shame it didn't get a longer run (even though it was kind of resolved in the smaller 2nd season).

I looted my series from the internet, but I'll grab the DVD box set, it's well worth owning in a nice format, and I'm always happy to pay for quality shows.

I remember reading the book in class. It was pretty good for the sort of shit they force fed us in high school, might revisit it.
