Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. It's just released on Steam Early Access, I'm quite liking the look of it - the end of my shopping list is slowly creeping further into the distance...lol.

I looked around for any reviews but couldn't see any

It sort of looks like the game I've always wanted to make - A step time strategic zombie game. I would have put missions etc in, but maybe stuff like that is inherently in this too!

PC Gamer alpha review is up. Seems like it has your 'average every-day' alpha issues, but enormous potential. If they get it right we could be on to a winner!

Dead State’s focus on character conflict during an emergency is an angle I haven’t seen outside of The Walking Dead’s heavily scripted cut-scenes. Unlike the Telltale series, Dead State’s conflicts can be solved by open-world exploration and looting, and that was a new experience for me.
