Space post - Surprising amount of water found on Moon

This is an amazing discovery. Can't wait to see what Patrick Moore says about it, as he's always held the opinion none would really exist there.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Everybody is worried about water on mars and they didn't even realize it was on the moon?

But everyone knows that the moon is made of cheese....

Congrats to the subcontinent on their probes findings. I wonder if NASA was scrambling to get press for their 'double whammy' because they thought India might 'scoop' them on their findings.

Judging from some news reports I've read in recent months, we may need it.

no he is more likely refering to the
growing shortage of fresh water on this planet
    for an increasing population.

nearly 1.1 billion people (about 20% of the worlds
    population) lacks clean drinking water.
