OK, I just heard an interview with George stating he wants to release chapters of Diary on the internet, the combine them on DVD...

Shi-tay. C'mon George, make it a PSP exclusive like we all want.

Got a link to the interview?

Can't see that working... They would unfortunately by the very nature of the internet get copied/pirated instantly...
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. That sounds like a really lame idea, if you're making a movie, release it as a friggin' movie!

The whole episodic content type thing is never done properly anyway (hey Neil, did you see Half Life 2: Episode Two is delayed again - where's the quick turn-over they promised? Assholes...)

Anyway, if it can't make it to theatres, who cares - gimme it on DVD as a movie and I'll most certainly buy it.

Well acording to Fangoria, it IS a movie and they will be showing some new behind the scenes footage at the Weekend of Horrors Convention on the 23-25th of Feb. I recall George saying he would be interested in making Diary as an episodic series but I think it was just an early suggestion and nothing concrete.

Webisodes almost always never work. I hope Diary has a theatrical run or a straight to DVD release.

It was on Youtube and it was an audio interview. I think you just have to type in romero interview and it should come up.

By the way, Scott Hall rule, hey yo.

I listened to that interview and I think he said it was a totally separate thing with just one zombie chasing one girl with a new episode every week to be watched on a cell phone.

Indeed, I've heard the same thing elsewhere, GAR wants to do a separate project specifically for mobile devices, a kind of "zombie of the week" type thing I think.

George has been talking about doing some kind of zombie web-isodes since 2001, when he first launched his site.
