    but has anyone heard anything new on the dead flick called zombies?

    Day Of The Dead remake is in pre-production and isn't set to be released until 2007.

    Let's not forget...

    Quintin Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez's "Grindhouse". Rodriquez's segment is a zombie flick called "Project Terror" and seeing as how he and Tarantino are fans of Romero's.....we should be in for one hell of a treat.

    I too cannot wait for "Grindhouse", as soon as I heard about it with it's 'double bill' drive-in style complete with fake movie trailers I was loving it. It's filming right now I think and will be out later this year, damn I can't wait to see that flick!

    Blimey, that is a call back to a while ago ... no doubt it just died flat on its arse as a project. Nothing listed on his IMDb - but apparently he's in pre-production on "From A Buick 8" ... which GAR was supposed to be working on ages ago, if memory serves.
