Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. I might watch the first episode, but I expect it to be a rubbish politically correct telling of the story with low budget CGI and everyone speaking in that "I went to acting school dont you know" accent that they all have in these TV series
At least in Game of Thrones there is mercifully little of that barring a few of the child actors, King Robert spoke like a typical grass roots no nonsense bloke, and Sean Bean in his usual gruff Yorkshire tones

I saw the first 2 episodes of this ages ago but got distracted and forgot about it.
I liked it but in the shadow of Game of Thrones it may look tame and lightweight.

Oh dear! Very safe, predictable, and run of the mill... I'll give it one more episode...
