The only similarity is the black eye makeup and the pale face. It's a very common way to make someone look "undead".

Why so serious? It's a pure coincidence that they both have white make up and black around the eyes. Beetlejuice also doesn't have green hair, a cut smile, and red lipstick. Alot of people have also compared it to The Crow.
