Painting Foam Casts

I was offered the chance to purchase original Land of the Dead Movie Props that were not completed or 2nds from the movie. They are body parts, including heads and masks done in poly foam. They are simply an off-white colour. What kind of paints should I use? Is anyone into casting here? I've googled my fingers off but keep getting different answers.

use acrylic paint mixed with prosaide. not so much that it wont dry, but enough that it wont flake. apply with makeup sponge. I also recommend airbrushing the details. Wow, didn't realize that was a 4 year old topic.
