    Daemonia

    A group I saw live in the UK last year, fronted by ex-Goblin frontman Claudio Simonetti. They performed a couple of tunes from the Dawn Of The Dead soundtrack but played a serious amount of Argento movie themes.

    Here's a ditty I found on You Tube. The intro to L'alba Dei Morti Viventi from Dawn (only the intro, mind) so enjoy.

    Some of you may recognise it vaguely.

    It's the music from this scene in Dawn of the Dead:



    And Daemonia are awesome. I have their Dario Argento Tribute album - the Suspiria, Demons and Phenomena covers in particular are fantastic.

    That's pretty cool. It took me a minute, but I recognized it.

    Which one in that poster is Simonetti? They all look pretty young to have one that worked on the Zombie/Dawn soundtrack.

    He does look really, really good for his age. He must be, what, in his fifties? He looks about 30.

    If you look at footage of him in the 80s (the second video in this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmJ-hSyx6nU), he looks the same now as he did then.

    Dude....maybe I'm losing my mind, but why is it that this seems to have footage I've never seen? I've seen all the versions of the film, but at 1:15 there's a zombie with his arm ran over and he breaks it off. I don't remember this.
