One of my top three current favorite shows (Mad Men and Breaking Bad are the others) . Can't wait.

Well. 3 eps in + I like where it's going as Dexter adjusts to his new life.

5 eps in and this show still has the magic. I was a bit worried they might take the easy route of serial killer main storyline and Dexter 2nd but no, they are exploring Dexter more. To some extent they are retreading old ground but it's different enough to keep my interest.
    Good stuff.

Yeah I am enjoying this season. . . a slow start but it is coming together. Now if I could just get over my hatred for Julia Stiles.

Well the seasons over and I hate to say it but I think it's just about run it's course now. Showtime please make the next season the last. Don't ruin the memory of this series by doing the same thing over and over again. The finale was just meh I'm afraid.

I have to be honest, while I like Dexter (the Showtime series):

    A) the first season was the best, none of the other seasons (aside from John Lithgow as Trinity) even came close. The "Trinity" story was a close second.

    B) The books are WAY better than the Showtime series. Seriously. If you haven't checked out the books and you like the show, you need to read them. They really are that good.

I didn't care for this season of Dexter. I agree with kidgloves on this one - it was very "meh.." this go around. They should quit while they're (sorta) ahead.
