Eh. I'm kinda losing interest with first party nintendo, have been for a while. In fact the only games i could see this being used as more than a gimick right now are the pokemon franchise, the hotel dusk franchise- a developer who whent bankrupt and the 2nd game might not even be released at all, and square enix's survival horror nanashi no game series which has a 3rd in development with no one yet to come out of japan. I predict a second wave of gimicky vendor trash ware like all the stylus bollocks from when the ds first game out. Plus honestly i'd rather have more actual interactivity in my games than just seeing it at different angles, thats just not getting me excited.

You mean like the wii? Kinda. More contrived than that, I'd say. Bear in mind, I never said I don't think it will be successful - Nintendo consoles have become must-have gadgets for a lot of people; I just don't think it's all that innovative or interesting. I work in Currys, a big electronics chain in the UK, and we're getting proper 3D TVs in over the next few weeks, and they look great. But this is something with a tiny pair of screens and apparently limited polygon/lighting capabilities, so in that context the 3D effect seems gimmicky and redundant.
