this is part of a talk given by neil degrasse tyson, an astrophysicist and one of the more powerful intellects on planet earth at the moment, where he answers a question from the audience about what would happen to a person who fell into a black hole. neil tyson is very well known for using humor as an aide to both teaching and understanding, so this response is quite funny in places. here is another one about apophis: one about deflecting an asteroid:
