    'Black Death' (film)

Watched this last night... It was really sort of an excuse to try and overcome my Game of Throne blues (now that series is over) as it has Sean Bean in armour wielding a sword

Anyway, nicely filmed, and some nice ideas, but ultimately the story isn't solid enough and clever enough to make this more than a mildly entertaining film IMHO.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. The film is forgettable, Sean Bean was the best thing about it.

Yeah I started to watching this last week but decided about 90 seconds in I wasn't in the mood. I'm sure it'll probably be okay and I might even like it a fair bit due to low expectations.

There were some nice ideas/aspects... But it just needed a tighter and more interesting script to make it work!
